NUKAT Center is a division of the University of Warsaw Library (BUW) which supervises NUKAT union catalog.
NUKAT and NUKAT Center are financed with two budgets: the appropriate part of BUW budget and annually renewed SPUB subsidy assigned by the Ministry of of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) and coordinated by the Interdisciplinary Center for Mathematical and Computational Modelling of the University of Warsaw (ICM UW).
Each year NUKAT Center Head prepares two reports: one is a part of BUW annual report (see BUW reports at http://www.buw.uw.edu.pl) and the other is sent to MNiSW as a part of full SPUB report prepared by ICM UW (see About NUKAT > Reports)

Tasks
Supervises NUKAT Center, current projects, publications, workshops and courses. Coordinates cooperation with NUKAT member libraries. Acquires external funds for the activity, equipment and development of NUKAT Center and reports how they are spent.

Tasks
Supervise the quality and integrity of the union database. Cooperate with system librarians. Run and update the database of NUKAT catalogers. Implement changes to shared cataloging procedures resulting from the updates to standards and cataloging rules. Prepare courses, workshops, internal and external meetings both onsite and online. Build and supervise the construction of instructive publications. Edit and update NUKAT Center website and NUKAT database web interface.
